Hello guys! I am Renaissance Austin, a native of Los Angeles, California. I ask that everyone be lighthearted with me because while it seems that my unexpected medical leave from work was a Debbie Downer, it has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. At this time I would like to take you through a short summary of the time line and then ask for your financial help so that I may complete this physical renovation projects and rebuild my life after losing everything I own.
March 14th, 2025, I landed in a Florida hospital needing five units of blood transfusion due to pre-existing conditions of anemia and adenomyosis. I had grown two large fibroids again that was stealing blood from me at an alarming rate. Afterward, I returned home to California to began resting and contemplating decisions I needed to make about my health that would cure me of my conditions. After a total of 9 units of blood transfusions I decided on surgery. My surgery was a success and I am recovering well. Also, during this leave I needed dental work due to three broken teeth and other issues. I was accepted into the USC dental program and have completed five extractions, half my deep cleaning, and will then need two dental implants, thankfully at half the cost of $4,000 total for both. Due to the shut down of my lymphatic system I developed inflammation and extreme pain in my right leg and lost some functionality in my right hand. I am currently starting physical therapy, free Tai Chi, and massage therapy which is helping to get my blood flowing again. Insurance benefits from my work as well as Medical have covered most of my medical and dental costs and some of the medical bills have been forgiven. However, I still have outstanding medical bills and want to make sure the dental implants are covered. Again, they are $2,000 each totally $4,000.
As I prepare to return to work I will need to approach travel and working in another state differently. After doing genetics and biochemistry testing it is crucial that I always have a kitchen to meet my dietary needs and a living space that compliments my nervous system. The best option for now will be a Class B camper van which will allow me save money on Uber, hotels, and Airbnb, purchase shoes and clothing since I no longer have any, and travel to California each month. I have been actively looking at camper vans for the past three years and am looking to build up a down payment of about $8,000 for financing options.
I know there are a lot of fundraisers taking place right now and so many communities are in need, but being communal is more essential than ever. I am receiving a small amount of disability which starts and stops based on paper work time lines and SNAP has been cut due to the government shutdown. I will be doing everything in my power to meet these needs and thank all of you in advanced for helping me do so!
Sincerely,
Renaissance Austin
